How
to get to Shuswap Lake: The Shuswap
Lake region and the surrounding communities of Chase,
Blind Bay, Sorrento, Salmon Arm and Sicamous can be
accessed by vehicle along major highways.
From the western coastline
of the province travel east to Kamloops along
Highway #1 and then continue on Hwy #1 to the lower
arms of the Shuswap Lake region and to the main communities.
From the eastern borders of
the province and Alberta travel along Hwy
#1 to Revelstoke and then onto the Shuswap Lake area
main communities.
From the south end of the province
travel to Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley along Highway
#97. Continue north on Hwy #97 past Vernon and Enderby.
After Enderby Hwy #97 splits in two. Hwy #97B leads
you to Salmon Arm and Hwy #97A to Sicamous, BC, Canada.
From the north of the province
travel south along Hwy #23 or Hwy #5. Both highways
connect to Hwy #1 which continues on to the Shuswap
Lake region.
