Chase, BC is a small village on the western shores of Little Shuswap Lake where the South Thompson River connects. The small community of Chase, British Columbia, Canada is west of Turtle Valley and south of Adams River and Adams Lake. Chase, BC is known as the "Gateway to the Shuswap" and the community is easily accessible from Highway #1.

In the summer months Chase is a popular recreation destination for boating, fishing, sailing, canoeing, camping, rafting, river kayaking, water skiing, mountain bIking, wakeboarding, wildlife viewing, birdwatching and tubing. Chase enjoys many of the amenities required by boaters like marinas, boat launches and rentals.

River kayakers arrive in Chase, BC, Canada because of the easy access points to the South Thompson River, Adams River and the Little Shuswap River Paddling Routes. Hikers experience the area around Chase, BC on foot exploring trails like the Aylmer Lake, Skmana Lake, Quaaout and Bear Creek Flume Hiking Trails. And for mountain views of Chase hike up to the Neskonlith Meadows.

In the winter months, after the snow has fallen, the Village of Chase transforms into a winter wonderland. The mountain trails and back country gravel roads become popular destinations for cross country skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing. Many of the, nearby, smaller lakes in the region freeze over attracting the ice fishing crowd.

West and East Skmana Lakes is a popular cross country ski destination near Chase with an extensive trail system. Trails like the Shooting Star, Lupin Loop, Chocolate Lily and the Butter Cup Trails provide endless days of trekking. Further west is the Mt. Morrisey XC Ski Trails. Snowmobilers will enjoy the trails on Crowfoot Mountain near Celista.

The Village of Chase, BC is a small community providing many of the important amenities required by travelers like accommodations, gas stations, retail stores, tackle shops, restaurants, banks, grocery stores, laundromats and campgrounds.
