Charles Park is a community
playground located in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by older
residential homes. The community park is an ideal destination
for families with small children because the park has a wheelchair
accessible playground and wading pool.
The playground park is small but well maintained.
The looming trees provide shade from the sun, the grass lawns
give way to children so they can play and the sitting benches
provide some comfort for Moms and Dads while the kids let loose
and burn off some energy.
There is no lifeguard on duty at the wading pool.
It is important that parents do not leave their children unattended
while they are playing in the pool. We know it sounds like common
sense but you would be surprised at what we have seen in our travels.
Onsite in the park is a change room / washroom.
Ther eis some picnic tables scattered throughout the park - so
bring a lunch. There is no parking lot in this park, but there
is side street parking surrounding the playground park.
