Park is a sandy beach park
located on the Thompson River in the heart of the community of
Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. The park enjoys a sandy beach,
large grass lawns and a view of Red Bridge.

railroad theme. Onsite is a few railway
cars on display dedicated to the railway of old. And from the
sandy beach one can see in the distance the CN Railway Bridge
crossing the river.

Thompson River. A few viewing benches are scattered throughout
the grass lawns and there are some washrooms and change rooms
near the parking lot.

and kayaks seeking to access the Thompson River. Pioneer Park
enjoys a boat launch and is a dog friendly park. The park attracts
people who enjoy spending some time outdoors hiking, kayaking,
biking, boating, fishing and swimming.

Park. Both parks are connected by the Rivers
Trail. A massive paved trail system that explores the community,
the surrounding parks and the neighbourhoods.
