Ranch is a network of dirt
trails designed by mountain bikers exploring the backcountry hills
east of the community of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. The
bike park is 26 hectares of trails carving down sand bluffs, exploring
through pine trees, sagebrush, and desert grasslands.
The entrance to the downhill
section of the mountain bike park is referred to as the "Fist
Full of Dollars". The trailhead starts at the top of the
ridge and goes down hill from there. The mountain biking route
is filled with many dirt jumps and ramps providing plenty of good
thrills and, maybe, some spills.
At the bottom of the "Fist
Full of Dollars" route is a Jump/Trick Park referred to as
"The Corral". The jump park is a selection of ramps
and jumps testing ones skills. Some ramps trickier than others.
It is an ideal destination to work on your balance, air time and
trick riding.
The Kamloops Bike Ranch is a
BMX track, a downhill track, and a jump park rolled into one.
