park, set in the forest centred around a beautiful blue lake including
a 7 kilometre hiking trail, a campground and a 400 metre white
sandy beach.
Hat Creek
Ranch is a Pioneer homestead
and First Nation Village nestled in the historic Bonaparte Valley
located east of the Coast Range Mountains and north of the community
of Cache Creek, British Columbia, Canada. The
Hat Creek Ranch is a popular attraction today and has been since
1861.
Heritage
Place | Millennium Park is
a well maintained interpretive park decorated with artifacts and
buildings representing the history of the region. The park is
a popular lunch hour picnic area with sitting benches located
in the heart of Ashcroft, British Columbia, Canada.
A short walking path with interpretive
signs marks each exhibit in Heritage Place Park. From one end
to the other the walking path documents the early days of the
railway and mining industries and provides examples of the living
conditions of the early pioneers and First Nations people.
Haig Brown
Provincial Park is a 1076 hectare park established
in 1977 to protect the salmon spawning beds located on the Adams
River north of the community of Chase,
BC and west of the community of Sorrento,
BC. The river flows 11 kilometres down the centre of the elongated
park while resting in a quiet river valley surrounded by cedar,
pine, birch, hemlock, Douglas-fir, cottonwood and alder trees.
