Park is a well maintained
community park in the heart of Cache Creek, British Columbia,
Canada. The park is 4.5 hectares (11 acres) in size and is the
main park in the community visited by locals and visitors.
Accessed from the main parking
lot at the entrance of the park is a swimming pool, playground
and a small covered gazebo overlooking a large grass field shaded
with trees. Ideal for outdoor events. The park also provides picnic
tables, baseball diamonds, horseshoe pits, basketball courts,
tennis courts and a walking trail.
The outdoor swimming pool is very active in the
hot summer months. The pool area includes some change rooms, an
outdoor hot tub and a large swimming pool. Life guards patrol
the pool during operating hours. Check local schedule for public
swimming times.
How to
Get to Recreation Park: Travel Highway #97 North
into the community of Cache Creek. Take a left onto Parke Road.
Continue on Parke and then take the first left onto Quartz Road.
At the end of Quartz Road is the main parking lot of the Recreation
Park.
